About the opportunity:

You will be a valued member of the small, supportive and motivated feed mill & feed delivery team, who manufacture & deliver poultry feed for our operations.  Your role will be to deliver poultry feed to our farms located in The Redlands, Beaudesert and Lockyer Valley areas. This role reports to the Feed Mill manager at Darwalla Group, a south-east Queensland poultry producer located in beautiful Mt Cotton.  A family business, Darwalla has been operating for over 80 years, with poultry farms located in the Redlands, on the Darling Downs and in the Lockyer Valley.

Who we are looking for:

This is a permanent full-time position. This industry is a 24/7 operation and therefore flexibility is essential to meet production demands, overtime may be necessary on a day to day basis to meet demand. 

The successful candidate will have: 

• Must have a current HC or MC license
• Tipper experience highly advantageous
• Road ranger experience preferred
• A positive attitude & flexible, hands-on approach
• The physical ability to perform manual tasks (attaching blower to silos)
• The ability to carry out preventative maintenance
• Demonstrated compliance with Health, Safety, Transport and Environmental policies
• Their own transport to travel to-from the base at Mt Cotton
